Perhaps I'm thinking a little too hard, or maybe just digging too deep. But when it comes to road trips, I find myself craving things that normally would not be considered as a "Cooperative Combo". This fascination that I have with food is (and not just food but 'outlandish sorts' of food) is fueled by a young man who shares my same interests. Well at least when our taste buds are involved.
Last Tuesday I hit the road with an errand to be fulfilled. Before I had the guts to enter Interstate-15, I checked out the local 8th north 'Maverick' (adventure's first stop) to see what my hunger box would accept as a simple solution to mild hunger. My cravings were endless it seemed as my eyes laid their receptive rays upon brilliant displays of chips, sunflower seeds and of coarse soda drinks. But three things, other than gas, were purchased that warm afternoon.
1. A 44oz Dr. Pepper fountain drink. (Maverick never seems to fail my desire for a good Dr. Pepper)
2. A "Whatchamacallit" candy bar.
3. A bag of "Doritos, Late Night, Last Call Jalapeno Poppers".
Now, my venture towards the great valley of Salt Lake was pleasantly accompanied by this Cooperative Combo. I would suggest it to any of you who are looking for some great, adventurous snacking during your traveling affairs.
